Doll In Mind is a Korean based company. They opperate under the mother company of Figure Korea, Inc. These dolls are produced by doll artist Art-Tong's Little Ami and a production team.
I have chosen to carry D.I.M. bjd because of their realistic, correct and expressive sculpt. Having a background in the fine arts makes me very in tune to minor off scale head sculpt problems. D.I.M.'s dolls all seem to rest well in their resin molds which allows them to take on the personalities they were intended.
D.I.M.'s customer service is excellent. Denny Kim will always respond to any sort of question promptly and with excellent English. The company is a pleasure to do business with. Buy with confidence!
Again and again, Doll In Mind bjd's impresses me. If you are looking for a doll to customize, their molds are finished properly. They are one of the few companies that will take the time to smooth and finish the inside of eye sockets and inner mouth areas. I have worked on quite a few dolls and have spent most of my time fighting pits in the resin that collect pigment. I have not seen this with DIM.
